For many years, I lived with migraine pain, accepting it as a part of my daily life.

I am a double board-certified physician who spent more than 20 years in traditional medicine. After receiving a Health Professions Scholarship from the military, I became a General Medical Doctor in the US Navy and completed two wartime deployments during Operation Iraqi Freedom before pursuing a career in Emergency Medicine.

After the birth of my first child, my health imploded. I was left suffering with multiple medical problems including infertility, adrenal fatigue, depression and debilitating daily migraines. I was able to find her my back to health through the holistic approach of functional medicine. I was able to dig deep to find the root causes of my owne medical issues and was set free from the chronic daily suffering of migraine. This led me to become Board Certified in Functional medicine as well as a certified headache and migraine specialist by the National Headache Foundation. I have a passion to help others break free of the crippling symptoms of migraine and restore their health and passion for life.
